1847 Bar & Grill

1847 Bar and Grill is a nice place especially for being located in a small town like Lebanon. The food was good with fait portions. The service was great with friendly and attentive staff. Atmosphere is great.

The waitress was great, she was attentive and friendly. She was joking with our group and made our visit that much more enjoyable. The menu is not extensive so you won't be overwhelmed by options. I got the bacon onion burger which was delicious with a light spread of their in house smokey ketchup. (If you enjoy smokey flavor, definitely give the smokey ketchup a try!) My husband had the prime rib, which he said was a "decent cut of prime rib".

Great burgers and steak! Really cool little place tucked into the hotel. Low lighting and quiet place to have a chat with friends. Nice staff that were super helpful in ordering food and drinks. Everything was nice and they can cook a good rare steak. It's a little pricey but all of the food was certainly worth it. Overall a great experience

This place has delicious food and some of the best options to choose from for food & drinks. The staff is awesome & on top of it. Miss the little bar atmosphere from the upstairs lounge though.

The ambience and wait staff are great. Of our 4 adult orders, 2 were cooked how the other was supposed to be (med rare vs med well), and that was after a very long wait. We therefore weren’t eating at the same time. The minimal menu is definitely not worth the highly prices! Get a new chef.

We just love this place. It is a little pricey but the food is outstanding and it's a very nice restaurant.

The service is always friendly and the facility is lovely. The food is always good, but sometimes it's Excellent. We don't eat out often, but 1847 is a local family favorite.

One of the best local places to get high quality food. Every time we go, the service is amazing, there is always a good beer or two on tap and the food is spectacular. If they have scallops on the menu, get them! They are the best I have had inland to date. Their steaks are also cooked marvelously. I highly, highly recommend 1847 whenever asked. It is one of my husband and I's favorite local places to have a date night.

Excellent service, fast and to the point. Cant ask for much else. Best place to eat in Lebanon. As far as cocktails go, you'd be hard pressed to find a better one in the surrounding area. Ask for Rich. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant, great food and excellent service.

I would give them a 5 if they would get some good bread. Good baguettes make a huge difference. The bread they currently serve with dinner is awful. I've submitted suggestions about this issue, but they don't respond.

1847 has amazing atmosphere and wonderful dishes to choose from !! We had a wonderful experience here at 1847!! Josh was our server and very friendly. The BEST homemade blue cheese I have ever eaten!! It was amazing !! Highly recommend this dining experience...

The bacon Mac and cheese which they priced at 15, I would say was less than half that value. Chicken marsala? $16? I don't think so. All it was was a deep fried chicken Patty with some moist noodles and not buttered. Atmosphere is absolutely fantastic, now we just gotta get the food to follow.

We came here for our second anniversary. The staff was wonderful -- attentive and friendly, and more than willing to explain the menu. Our server was above and beyond: patient with us, carefully watching to see when we were ready to move from apps to the main course, and making sure that we never had to wait longer than expected for anything we ordered. The food was great -- we had the sugarcane skewered shrimp to start, and it was fantastic. My partner opted for pasta, and I had the schnitzel -- both were delicious! Our drinks were also fantastic. The bar and the kitchen are both on point, the service was great, and the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of what you get. The setting is lovely, and I highly recommend sitting on the patio if the option is available. All in all, we will definitely be back, and we'll be bringing friends next time!

No harbour view, service, food, and drinks make it better than most offerings in this valley of starvation. And THANKSGIVING to seal the deal.

We had a great dinner and the service was good, too. I had the risotto with lobster and it was delicious. My husband had fried chicken and he said it was very good.

Took over an hour to be served food. 20 mintues just to asked what we wanted to dribk. It wasnt very busy either. Only other tables at the time. The food was okay, ribeye steak was good but not worth the price. Chicken tenders taste a lot like McDonald's nuggets and i got them cold, along with cold fries and macaroni. I don't recommend eating here if you have limited time. But if you dont mind waiting over an hour for food its good

Loved it. Prime rib was awesome according to my companions. Try the Cioppino. It was spicy but wasn't hot. When the only remark is, "bread unremarkable". Give it t stars. Ambiance was great. Service was great.

I give it a 2 star cuz service was good. Got the prime rib and it was horrid! Over cooked and tough with zero flavor after an inch of the outside. I do not recommend the prime rib! I was expecting a place like this to have a chef! I dont know a chef that would have let food that bad go out.

Awsome food & Drinks. Wait Staff was Friendly & Helpful. Had the Vampire Garlic Burger with spicy Sweet Patato Fries....highly recommend. They only had 1 beer on Tap, I could smell the Hops before it got to my Table.

Super good food. Great atmosphere. Awesome wait staff.I went here for my anniversary and the food was amazing. This has been one of only a handful of places that has properly given me a rare steak. Most places over cook it but they executed it perfectly. As someone who loves meat on my food I was unhappy that my Ceasar salad had no chicken so I asked the waiter for a grilled breast to throw on top and they promptly made me one. The Yukon Golden Potatos that came with the meal were insanely tasteful. I also ordered the Chicken Marsala and that didnt fail me either. Their drinks were mixed very well and generously as well. They have a good wine list that's hard to find in places such as Lebanon. The experience was expensive but the food and conversation made it well worth the price. Would highly recommend

The classiest place in town! It's so great to have a really nice date-night kind of place here locally. And they have a great happy hour menu, smoked trout salad....mmmm

Our first time eating here & was quite disappointed. Our waitress was friendly, but the food was very disappointing. Our friend ordered a medium steak , they brought her out a very well done steak, might as well brought her a plate of jerky. I ordered a bbq bacon burger with fries. My fries were cold & they forgot the bbq sauce. We will not be returning.

Really nice restaurant in the hotel. Beautiful Japanese gardens just outside the restaurant windows. Would be lovely to sit outside during warm weather.

The outdoor seating area is nice and overlooks the little, hotel built park. Food is good quality, but a little pricey. Waitstaff is excellent.

Stayed here a week for business, and I can't say enough great things. Shout out to Jamie and Carl for being the best servers I've had, possibly ever. Jamie gave ammmazing recommendations and made the whole experience so much fun! Carl was warm, welcoming, and genuine! I wanted to eat here every night! I had the catch of the day one night that was pan seared salmon with a strawberry salsa, with risotto and grilled asparagus. Salmon is my favorite fish, and I had never tried risotto. This meal was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING, and I'll be dreaming about it for many days to come! Their 1847 Greens salad has pickled veggies that are delicious, the spicy shrimp were creamy and luscious, and two of the best drinks I've ever had! Sunnyslope and Blueberry Burro - DO it! Highly, highly recommend and if you can spend time enjoying a meal with Jamie or Carl, you won't regret it!

Carl is my favorite server their. Often times if I'm discouraged by the food I always seem to make it back because of him. The Cobb salad is consistently good as it should be for $15. Everything else seems to be hit-and-miss depending on who's cooking the food. It's still the nicest restaurant within Lebanon. I enjoy the atmosphere and the landscape which adds to the overall enjoyment. Steak and pasta prices are way cheaper here than if you were to go to a nice place in Salem or Portland but you know what they say. You get what you pay for.
